St Angela Daycare and Kindergarten

Our daycare provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where little ones feel loved and secure while away from home. We focus on comfort, routine, and gentle learning, allowing children to explore through play, music, and movement. Our caregivers ensure every child’s emotional, social, and physical needs are met with warmth and attention.

At this stage, children are introduced to a fun and caring learning environment where every day feels like playtime! Our focus is on helping little ones develop social, motor, and communication skills through songs, art, storytelling, and outdoor play. It’s all about building confidence and nurturing a love for learning from the very beginning.

In PP1, your child begins to explore the world a little more independently. We introduce early literacy and numeracy in a playful, engaging way—through games, music, and creative activities. This helps learners build focus, curiosity, and confidence as they prepare for the next stage of learning.

PP2 is an exciting step as children get ready to transition to Grade 1. At this level, we strengthen reading, counting, and problem-solving skills, while encouraging teamwork, independence, and responsibility. Learning remains fun and interactive, preparing learners to thrive in primary school.

Grade 1 marks the beginning of formal primary education under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Learners dive into subjects like language, mathematics, and environmental activities, with plenty of hands-on exploration. Our teachers guide them to ask questions, think creatively, and learn by doing.

In Grade 2, learners build on the strong foundation from Grade 1. They continue to grow in confidence as they advance in literacy, numeracy, science, and life skills. We encourage curiosity, creativity, and collaboration—helping each child discover their unique strengths and abilities.
